Loved it! The dark moments and weird Renpy stuff was really well done, good sound design at those moments too. And I love Mychael, especially when he acts unhinged. His design is so cool, I wanna crochet him...
Oh, and I REALLY hope the full game features a happy (in a yandere kind of way) ending. ^_^
...I will concede that my view on what a happy ending is may not always mesh with the norm, so for all I know there's a 'bad ending' somewhere that's super-happy in my view.
Guess I have to wait for the full game to find out.
Cottage-core, woods and mushrooms are not my favorite things, but somehow this game makes it work. The guy is cute tho, if a bit of a dork.
The MC is an idiot who doesn't understand the concept of promising to come back later, but that's pair for the course with most games.
I have absolutely NO clue how this game popped up in the same cathegory as dark romances --it's adorable!
He's really nice too. I don't think he'd ever hurt you on purpose.
I wanted to smack the MC over the head repeatedly, but that's pair for the course with most Visual Novels. I don't blame the creator for making the MC more normal than I am.
SO many problems could be avoided if the MC had just bothered to tell him she'd love to come back and visit later after she got home. But I suppose that would take some of the fun out of his magic dust moments if she did. lol
(I'm also a little sad you couldn't call Mychael 'cute', because that's what he is. He looks like a cute goat boy. Made of mushrooms. lol)
And while the MC's possible reactions are very logical, I'm a tiny bit sad I couldn't react more naturally when seeing how he looked the first time. (For me that would be to try and figure out what he was --probably ending up guessing on some kind of Fae after dismissing other options. I read too much. Curiosity trumps fear I guess... lol)
And why is there no choice to say you don't have anyone you consider family? I mean... not everyone likes their family. And not everyone have friend (or friends close enough to be considered family.)
I am also a bit annoyed that the MC is so overly obsessed with helping a certain rabbit, but you CAN have her choose to accept reason and the way of nature, so it's not a real problem.
(Granted, I prefer humans to die over animals, but Mychal is right. Nature is not a kind and soft place. Anyone who's ever watched a nature show knows that.)
But these are minor concerns, and I am notorious for nitpicking, so it's pretty safe to say that when those things are the worst problems I find with a game, it's a pretty good game.
The download was only a demo, so I really look forward to see the full game.

I really loved this game. Mychael with a y is such a great character and well crafted. it's hard to hate him besides the fact he uses mind manipulation powers on the player but in the end of the day he's just a lonely dude with his first friend he doesn't want to let go of. I can't wait it see what more this game has to offer

This is like if DDLC had a cottagecore aesthetic and so far I’m connecting more with the plot tbh, even as a big DDLC fan. It’s tense and really kept me hooked. I absolutely cannot wait for the rest of the days. Seriously! please! my feeling when it ended was something like Mychael’s when protag asked to go home. Great art, engaging story (even if I do want to shake protag on a regular basis) and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t jump a couple times. Really good work!! :-)

I never comment on games, novels, etc. on this page but the truth is that this is simply audiovisual art, the story is immersive and it is so interesting that the more you read the more immersed you become in the story, it is already interesting that it keeps you trapped🌸

Was reluctant to play the game until i saw you were also the dev of Astronought? Downloaded immediately and this game was somehow even better >_<!! I adore Mychael (not with an i) and his whole character, like the mc has mentioned, its so intriguing how he wears his heart on his shoulder yet still manages to keep it locked up, i am left with so many questions about Mychael and genuinely need to know more. NOT TO MENTION HIS DESIGN?? instantly fell in love. Please we need to teach him about the internet and show him the world and find out what he has in common with jelly fishes and why he hates those (not) mushrooms so much..though i already have an inkling about why that might be..Looking forward to more updates!!!! :3

lovable story game with cute graphics, a both interesting and unique story, and very intriguing characters. couldn't stop playing after starting... wonderfully done ^-^ can't wait for full version, paid or not!
I played this for the first time without reading the description because I like going into games blind and just figuring out what's in store. and this game did not disappoint. The game pulled me in; and I instantly related to the story as someone who owns cats and knows the panic of one going missing. I was sad seeing that the cat doesn't make it but that's the only downside of this game. The developer put a lot of work into making the game play immersive and honestly just fun.
I played the demo and first played through the neutral ending and was satisfied with the ending, until my younger sister (who had played the game before) told me there was multiple endings. I went back and found 2 of the bad endings, but I plan to go back to find the rest.
I felt connected to Mychael immediately and it broke my heart going back and being mean to him. The character is relatable, and I honestly would love to live in the woods with him.
Additionally, I love the art style. It's detailed yet cartoonish. I love it so much, it's so cool.
Overall, I am new to playing games, but this is by far my favorite, and I can't wait to play the full version and find the remanding bad endings. I LOVE this game, and I will probably replay this game multiple times in the future.
PS. my sister also loves the game (she wanted me to put that in here)

Just finished playing this demo. It's so cute. I really like Mychael's character. His shyness and his conflict about not wanting to let the MC leave, but also not wanting to hurt them was very engaging. I also love the art style. Everything's so warm and cozy. I look forward to seeing future updates!

i love the different choices, and the way the main character and think differently from one choice which made me really excited im just wanting more! i reallly like the art style as well i cant explain it in words and im really looking forward into the full game, you've probably gave me a knew hyperfixation for the next months after this and i had the most different emotion switch quick😿 but im really forward to more game you make as well 😽😼
Okay, so I just finished Day 3 and I want to give my honest review and reactions to this game. First of all, I have a cat named Shadow, he is my world and the fact that you can name you in-game cat is such a personal touch that made me relate to the MC more.
Secondly, THE ART. Oh my gosh, THE ART just takes your breath away by how colourful and sometimes whimsical it makes you feel, I love the background art so much that I took extra time between dialogue just to take it all in.
Thirdly, the story. I honestly don't think there has been a game that has made me flustered, concerned, and almost scream whole my teeny tiny feet are kicking my computer monitor. I LOVE the character we meet. Now, I don't want to place any spoilers but I will say that his design, personality and I honestly just want to snuggle him up with some fluffy blankets and smooch his adorable nose. I am so EXCITED for the full release of the game and I am going to play the demo again and again and AGAIN until its full release.
That's all for me today, ya'll I'm in love with this game.
